Ruth Grable passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at the age of 99 years, 10 months and 16 days.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in Bethesda Cemetery in Parker County. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Biggers Funeral Home.

Ruth was born May 22, 1915, in Parker County. She was preceded in death by her parents; her five siblings; husband, Archie Grable; and son, Archie Grable Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Elma Ruth Grable Shen and her husband, John; grandchildren, Vycke Shen Horback, John Shen Jr., Weldon Grable; great-grandchildren, Chrissy Shen Starnes, Emily Horback Warren, Cyndi Shen Ramon, Sarah Horback Mascara, John Shen III and Alan Horback; and great-great-grandchildren, Grayson and Tenley Ramon.
