Samuel Turner Cherry, Jr. went to be with his Heavenly Father on April 24, 2018 in Fort Worth. No services are planned at this time.
Samuel was born to Samuel Turner and Laura Cherry on May 3, 1939 in Childress, Texas. He was married to his loving wife of 33 years. He loved to fish and enjoyed doing woodwork and attending church. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family and friends.
Samuel is survived by his loving wife, Marie of the home, four daughters: Tonya Burrows of Roland, Oklahoma, Darla Lynch of Glen Rose, Texas, Becky Mann of Glen Rose, Texas, and Julia Hindman of Glen Rose, Texas, son: James Cherry of Poteau, Oklahoma, sisters: Jan Hodge of Midland, Texas, Celia Rice of San Angelo, Texas, 18 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father: Samuel Turner Cherry, mother: Laura Cherry, and sons: Adam Cherry and Brandon Cherry.
Samuel leaves behind a host of family and friends.
