Graveside Service: 10:00 am, Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Azleland Memorial Park & Cemetery, 850 N Cardinal Rd, Azle, TX 76020.
Sandy was born on July 7, 1949, in Artesia, New Mexico to James and Margaret Terry. At a young age, the Terry family moved to Fort Worth, Texas, which quickly became home.
Sandra graduated from Diamond Hill High School (1967). That same year, Sandra met the love of her life, J R Lambeth. They married on June 21, 1968 in Fort Worth, TX. In a little over a year, she was blessed with their first son, Randy and five years later were blessed with their second son, Jason. Sandra was also blessed with Alex, Lacie and Becca, her grandchildren who she loved and adored more than anything. Being their granny was one of her biggest joys in life and she was so very proud of them.
Sandy enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved her Precious Faith Temple church family dearly, many who she has known most of her life. She loved family dinners at her house with the kids and grandchildren together at her table laughing, telling stories and usually teasing each other. Sandy looooved shopping, the family liked to joke every time the UPS truck turned on their street “granny’s been shopping again”.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, James and Margaret.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, J R; Sons, Randy and his wife Sara, Jason and his wife Vicki; grandchildren, Alex, Lacie and Becca; sisters, Sharon, Loraine and Carol; Sisters-in-law, Melody and Gail; brother, James; brothers-n-law, Roger and Willis; and many family and friends who love her.
Sandy’s life was a blessing and brought great joy to those around her. She will forever be remembered for her kind and loving heart. She was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.
