Scott “Red Wheeler” Lewis

September 16, 1957 - June 27, 2015

Scott “Red Wheeler” Lewis, 57, a loving husband and father, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015, at his home surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Committal and Masonic rites will take place at Annetta Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial gifts may be made to The Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Scott was born in Fort Worth on September 16, 1957, to Jerry and Jimmie Jones Lewis. He graduated from Western Hills High School in 1976. He married Brenda Lee Newton on December 17, 1982, in White Settlement.

“Red” owned and operated Soda Springs BBQ and Catfish in White Settlement for 30 years. He was a Master Mason affiliated with White Settlement Lodge #1372 A.F.&A.M. and was active with Moslah Temple Shrine. He was a licensed auctioneer in Texas and donated his time doing charity auctions for over 20 years.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry L. and Jimmie Jones Lewis.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda; daughter, Kacy; brother, Steve and wife, Karin; and many nieces and nephews.
