GRANBURY — Sherry Lynn Duffey, 72, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014, in Granbury.
Funeral: 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2014, at Triple Cross Cowboy Church in Thorp Spring. Burial: 4:00 p.m. Friday at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Quinlan, Texas. Visitation with family and friends will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Wiley Funeral Home.
Sherry was born Oct. 10, 1941, in Dallas, to William Clarence Bacak and Edith Lillian Culver Bacak. Sherry worked as a hostess in several Granbury restaurants. She loved to shop and go to the casino. She collected purses, jewelry, owls and bells. She was a champion bowler and she enjoyed sewing.
Survivors: Children, Max Wayne Duffey, Jr., Monty Shane Duffey and wife, Cindy, Brooke Delaye Remigio; grandchildren, Shane Redford, Shawn Duffey, Monty Shane Duffey, II, Timothy Sperling, Nicholas Sperling, Brittnee Delayne Protonentis, Todd Theodore Protonentis, Bailee Gabrielle Remigio; great grandchildren, Sid, Alyssa, Seth, Bonnie, Sadie, Mackenzie, Serenity; and many cousins.
