GLEN ROSE — Shirley I. Lambert, 64, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014 in Glen Rose. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Wednesday in Post Oak Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.
Shirley was born Jan. 31, 1950 in Cleburne. She married Harold Wayne Lambert on March 13, 1999 in Glen Rose. She was a nurse for 25 years and a member of Grace Baptist Church in Glen Rose. She enjoyed listening to the old songs, taking care of her parents, helping others and putting others before her own needs. She loved her family and friends. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and a foster child, James Lyn Easton.
Survivors: Husband, Harold Lambert; children, John L.D. Talley and wife, Debbie, Troy Talley, James Talley and wife, Tisha and Charles Talley and wife, Christine; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sisters, Rickie Robinson, Sandy Ayers and husband, Larry and Ila Underwood; nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews; and sister-in-law, Cynthia Compos.
