Our hearts are heavy with the loss of Coach. Our mountain family will miss him dearly. He is an amazing man with a huge heart and a love for his family and everyone he knows. We will miss our times on the back porch laughing and talking for hours. I will never forget the time we hiked through the woods with no flashlights and me in flip flops hanging on to Andrew so I did not fall, on our "short" walk that lasted over an hour. May you RIP dear friend and may God comfort Christy, Tyler, Zach, Marissa, Flossy Mae and the family during this very difficult time.

Prayers for Coach's (Pat) family. 🙏 I met him several years ago on our mountain in Oklahoma. He was an awesome and generous man. He will be missed up here on our mountain. We've always called all who have built here and moved here our Mountain Family. Rest in Jesus' arms Coach.❤️

We are all sadden with the passing of Patrick. He was a kind and God loving man who was not afraid to speak about the love of Jesus to anyone. He was truly a servant of his Lord. Patrick always had a positive and outgoing personality and was always friendly to those he came in contact with. He loved his wife and family more than himself and he spoke of them many times during our conversations over the years. Patrick will be truly missed but his gentle spirt and legacy that he leaves will resonate with us forever. I know that Patrick is in the presence of the Lord and he is having a great time, and pain free. Our prayers are with the family during this time.

What an inspiration Pat was and still is as he shared in faith in Jesus, with everyone he met, including his family - taking them to church or watching live when he was too sick to attend in person. In true Porter tradition, Pat was quite a character, keeping everyone entertained with endless energy and a zest for life. Pat, as you enjoy a new life in Heaven, you will continue to bless others with your sweet spirit.
