Steve had a measure of love for his family and friends that was truly his own. Those of us who were honored to know him, have many testimonies that bring us comfort at this time. Steve could be funny and firm at the same time! Sending Gretchen, Jeremiah and Joshua and family love and prayers.

I was lucky enough to meet Steve and Gretchen through Jeff. Like everyone else that met him, I was immediately drawn to his friendly nature. I was lucky enough to lose several rounds of golf to him and am sorry I won't get the chance to lose to him again. I know he will be sorely missed by his family and his wide circle of friends.
Michael G Slimmer left a message on February 10, 2022:
Steve was a great and fun guy, his passing was unexpected, I’m truly at a loss for words. We worked and traveled together for many years, mostly to distant lands like Detroit 😊. Steve liked to leave the hotel early, rain, snow or shine to get home and go golfing. He was great at music trivia and could name any tune and artist with minimal notes. Steve always spoke highly of his wife and family; we shared many pictures. Rest in peace my friend, you will be greatly missed.
Beverly Mendoza left a message on February 10, 2022:

Steve was a wonderful friend and a great sounding board for both personal and work related issues. He always greeted you with a smile when you walked into his cube and was never too busy to help or shoot the breeze. i always admired the way in which Steve expressed his love for his family to his coworkers and friends at LM. We at LM will all miss Steve's smile.
