Steven Mark Drillette

Steven Mark Drillette, 57, of Sherwood, Arkansas, passed on April 21, 2018. He was born on February 11, 1961 in Jourdanton, Texas. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, North Little Rock Rotary, a CASA volunteer and his 3.0 Senior tennis team won the Arkansas State Title in 2017. Steve taught and coached basketball for the first eight years of his career, before being hired by the National Weather Service. He recently celebrated 25 years of service for the NWS and was currently the Meteorologist in Charge of Little Rock.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Edith Drillette; wife, Martha Rutledge Drillette; daughter, Chelsea Marie Cochran (Mitchell); son, Joshua Steven Drillette; grandchildren, Chloe Jo Cochran and Conor Cochran (expected in July); siblings, Tom Drillette (Elysa), Debbie Tolar (Bob), Tim Drillette (Lori), and Scott Drillette (Amy); fifteen nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Drillette.

A visitation will be held 3:00 to 4:00 P.M., Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Martin’s Funeral Home, Granbury, Texas followed by a Rosary at 4:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Monday, April 30, 2018 at St Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 2301 Acton Highway, Acton, Texas with burial at Holly Hills Memorial Park, Granbury.
