Sylvia P. “Pauline” Negron

Sylvia “Pauline” Negron departed this world on Friday, December 11, 2015, to join her husband, Jaime Negron, to continue their lives together.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Friday, January 29, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in White Settlement. Committal will be at 2:30 p.m. in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Sylvia was born on July 18, 1930, in New York City, New York, and was raised in the Bronx. She met and married the love of her life, Jaime Negron, and began the adventure of her life. She eventually settled down in Fort Worth where she retired as the office manager for Service Merchandise. Sylvia volunteered for the Fort Worth Police Department’s Code Blue Citizens on Patrol (COPS) program, basing, manning the radios, and conducting neighborhood patrols.

Sylvia Negron was a great loving and caring Mom/Mami/Grandma/Abuela/Tia/Sister.

Sylvia was predeceased by the love of her life of 56 years, Jaime.

She is survived by her only sister, Irma Bozardt; her daughter, Lydia Negron; son, Steven Negron and wife, Terry; grandsons, James Burgdoerfer and wife, Allison, Michael Burgdoerfer, Steven Negron Jr. and Jaime Negron; the only granddaughter, Kathleen Negron; and her only great-grandchild, Evan Burgdoerfer.
