TAMMYE HEALER, 52
Tammye Lee (Trimble) Healer, age 52, passed peacefully on April 25, 2018, surrounded by her family at home in Granbury, Texas, after an inspiring and courageous battle against cancer.

Born May 21, 1965, in Amarillo, Texas to Duane Trimble and Patricia Banda, Tammye was the youngest of five children. She graduated from Brewer High School in 1983 and married the love of her life, Randy Healer of Brownwood, in a tiny chapel off the Las Vegas strip in 1991.

Tammye lived her life as a devoted mother and grandmother, and her family was always her top priority. She was an incredibly generous person who enjoyed laughter, traveling, gardening and spending time with close friends and family. Although she went by many names, including Red, Tabatha Jane, Lady and Gramsy, she was always the same kind, honest and positive-minded person to anyone she encountered. She loved the Lord and was a member of Stonewater Church in Granbury.

Her working life saw Tammye go from a meat butcher in a grocery store to kickstarting a small landscape and irrigation business with Randy in their dining room. Years later, it would become a thriving sports-field construction company that continues to grow. She also owned and managed Coneheads Snowcones in Benbrook with her older brother for 17 years.

Tammye is survived by her husband, Randy; her daughter, Hannah; her son, Jaime Handy and his wife Taylor; her grandchildren, Hudson and Parker Handy; her mother, Patricia Banda; her father, Duane Trimble, her sisters, Diane Lucas, Debbie Cypert and Donna Trimble; her brother, James Trimble; and many other relatives and close friends.

A celebration of Tammye’s life will be held on Saturday, April 28 at Stonewater Church in Granbury. There will be a visitation reception with refreshments at 3 p.m. and funeral service at 4 p.m., followed by her burial at Acton Cemetery. Flowers can be sent to Wiley Funeral Home at 400 Hwy 377 East, Granbury TX 76048. Memorial contributions can made in Tammye’s name to Stonewater Church for youth camp scholarships.

Where do I begin? I've known you 52 years! We probably talked every day. You got my old bedroom , when I moved out & got my 1st apt. I was your maid of honor... When I finally got a car it was standard shift(I didn't know how to drive that thing! So you teased me for a couple of hours.Then you told me to quit crying(Here you were 6yrs younger )teaching me how to drive the car I just got! I work the foot pedals while you shifted the gears! My Dearest Tammye, We missed our annual talk about family, friends, taxes, kids, grandkids and our life. I don't know how I am going to be able to purchase a new car or keep my pool clean without your advice!!
