Teresa Mahle, 55, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021. She was beloved by her family and we are eternally grateful for the outpouring of love and support received from her friends across the country. A virtual memorial service will take place in the coming weeks, and details will be posted on her Facebook page.
Teresa was born April 22, 1965 in Stephenville, Texas to Dale Moore of Granbury, TX and Nikki Mayberry of Fort Worth, TX.
Teresa raised Dobermans for over 20 years and was a member in the Doberman Pinscher Club of America, and Doberman Pinscher Club of Dallas. She served as a volunteer in both organizations for several years. Teresa achieved Register of Merit on her Doberman Champions Lindy and Justy. Her dogs were her family.
Teresa served in the US Air Force for 9 years, serving in Operation Desert Storm, and was a decorated Staff Sergeant when she was released with honors. Since leaving the military she held a long career as a Storage Engineer and Solutions Architect for companies such as EMC and most recently Texas Health Resources. Teresa earned her Bachelor of Science degree from University of Phoenix and Master of Business Administration from The University of Southern Mississippi.
Teresa could play any instrument she picked up and was proficient in woodwind and brass. In recent years she picked up the bass guitar so she could play in Granbury’s Cedar Point Music Club with her father, where many of the musicians called her the best bass player they’d ever heard. She loved her ranch in Texas where she spent much of her time riding horses, a passion she carried with her since childhood.
Teresa is survived by her father and stepmother, Dale and Donna Moore; sisters, Dana and Suzanne, brothers, Michael and Chris; and grandmother, Johnie Mayberry. Teresa was preceded in death by her mother, Nikki Mayberry; and grandparents, Lester Mayberry; and Cecil and Connie Moore of Stephenville.
