Thomas Damon “Papi” Bigbee, 50, passed away Friday, October 25, 2013.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Springtown Cemetery. Viewing and life story will be held noon to 8 p.m. Friday at Biggers Funeral Home.
Damon was born January 16, 1963, in Azle and everybody he met was family.
The family would like to express special gratitude and appreciation to the ICU team, trauma unit and Harris Methodist Hospital Downtown, especially Gene, Jennifer and Amy.
As a man that loved life, Damon’s comment just before his accident was “Come on man… If I go out on that bike today, I’m good with it because I’ve had a good run and a lot of fun. A pair of lips will tell you anything.”
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Bigbee; son, Billy Coker; grandson, Jayden Coker; mother, Deannie Benge; father, Kerry Don Bigbee and mate, Thelma; beloved sisters, Yvette Hill and husband, Mikael, and Latisha Bigbee and mate, Chapman “Scooter” Swindell; nephew, Chapman Swindell; nieces, Cortney Gilliam, Christian Mosley and Randi “Randall” Ireland; and great-nephews and great-niece, “The BoneHeads.”
