Thomas M. “Mickey” Clingan, 76, a resident of Wolfe City for over 30 years, passed away Wednesday April 2, 2014 at a Dallas hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Biggers Funeral Chapel in Fort Worth. Interment will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Lane A.Mickey was born August 23, 1937 in Clayton, Oklahoma to Harold and Mary Clingan. He served 20 years in the United States Army as an aircraft and radio mechanic before retiring on July 31, 1981 at the rank of E-7.He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Bobby Clingan, and a son-in-law Mark Perry. He is survived by his wife, Maria Adela Clingan; children, Mary Frances McEntyre, Maria Mae Cummings, and Connie Ray Perry; sons-in-law, Charly McEntyre, Scott Cummings, and Marc Grassie; grandchildren, Christopher McEntyre, Laura McEntyre, and Amber Cummings; sister-in-law, Judy Clingan; niece and nephew, Chris Clingan and Camber Cay Desmond.
