Thomasine Vivian Smith, 77, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 7, 2013.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Thurmond Fairview Cemetery in Wise County. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

She enjoyed spending time with her family. Her passions were fishing, basketball and her time with God.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Cola Carter; three brothers; and two sisters.

She is survived by her children, Lisa Jordan and husband, Perry, Tonya Smith, Ricky Smith, Renee Rubenkoenig and husband, Tracy, and Tommy Smith; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
