Travis was born in Ft. Worth, Texas, on October 2, 1959. He grew up in Granbury and graduated from Granbury High School in 1978. “If anyone wants to…take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also.
And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two. Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away.”
Travis was preceded in death by his father Byron Massey, and his three brothers Curtis, Larry Jo and Todd.
He is survived by his wife, Robin Massey; son, Brian Massey; daughter, Brandis Tate; mother, JoAnn Massey; sister, Terri Kindle; aunt, Lyndel Campbell; uncles, Dale Massey, Larry Williams, and Rodney Williams; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
