Duane was born on September 4, 1959 in Granbury to Truman and Nellobeth Johnson. He married Donna McBride on March 17, 2012.
Duane was a man that worked hard for what he believed in and for what was right. He was a man that loved his family and always put others first in his life. He spoiled his family in many ways and was a wonderful cook.
Duane was a Christian who loved the Lord. He knew his Bible front to back and he loved sharing what he had learned. He loved everything about Christmas and loved decorating the house inside and out.
Duane was a Nursing Home Administrator who took very good care of his patients. He was known at work as the Iron Man. He was preceded in death by his father: Truman Johnson and his first wife Marlisa Johnson.
Duane is survived by his loving wife: Donna Johnson, children: Rindy Cook and husband Clay, Cameron Johnson and wife Nycole, and Darik Johnson, grandchildren: Presley Purefoy, Wyatt Johnson, Cain Dove, Riley Purefoy, Xaine Cook, Payton Jacobson, and Madison Ortega, mother: Beth Johnson, siblings: Beverly Cullum and husband Dwight, and Gayle Saffle and husband Gary, great-grandchild: Ellie Piper and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
