V. Odell Ebeling

V. Odell Ebeling, 89, a beloved mom, grandma and great-granny, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 28, 2013, in Azle.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1313 Southeast Parkway in Azle. Interment will be at Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Biggers Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1313 Southeast Parkway, Azle, Texas 76020.

Odell was born March 13, 1924, in Marshall. She married Vernon Ebeling on October 10, 1953, a union that lasted 44 years. She was preceded in death by Vernon in 1997 and a brother, John Henry Wilson.

She is survived by her son, Robert “Bob” Ebeling of Springdale, Arkansas; daughter, Dixie Good and husband, Don, of Springtown; brothers, Virgil Wilson of Longview and Arless Wilson of Tyler; grandchildren, Heather Christman and husband, Eric, of Euless, Holly Legan and husband, Brad, of Springtown, Nicholas Good of Euless, Tonya Yale and husband, Shawn, of Omaha, Nebraska, and Joshua Ebeling of Weatherford; great-grandchildren, Zac and Addison Christman, Rhyder Legan and Lilly Yale; many nieces and nephews; and her wonderful church family.
