GLEN ROSE — Vickie Shipman, 75, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014, in Glen Rose.
Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wiley Funeral Home. Interment: Nancy Smith Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Wiley Funeral Home in Glen Rose.
Vickie was born July 18, 1938, in Yuma, Ariz., to Orlan D. Spain and Isabel Henry Spain. She had lived in Glen Rose for 8 years and was a member of Cottonwood Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, playing bingo and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors: Husband, Arvil Shipman of Glen Rose; daughters, Ginger Johnson of Cleburne, Debbie Kohler and husband, David, of Apache Junction, AZ, Sandra Van Cleave of Tuscon, AZ; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Bill Spain of Calif.; and step-children.
