Viola Diann Brogdon
On Saturday December 11, 2021, Diann Brogdon passed away at the age of 61 in Fort Worth, Texas. Diann was born on March 19, 1960, in Glen Rose, Texas to Jerry ‘Don’ and Joyce (Daniel) Livingston. Diann attended school in Glen Rose until she met the man who would become her husband and father to her 3 sons. In 1976 on Valentine’s Day, she married Deral Elliott. Together they welcomed their first son Kelly Lynn that same year. In 1978 the family grew to 4 when they welcomed John David. Then in 1983 they welcomed the one who would complete their family of 5, Casey Lee.
Although she had a few different jobs, hairdressing was one of her favorites that she took much pride in! Diann loved to be with her family and enjoyed cooking out and just sitting down to spend time and talk with her family. She also loved to cook and bake; she made the best fudge hands down. Diann loved to collect little Knick knacks and had a special place in her heart for angels. We always made sure that she had a new one every single Christmas. She loved to sit outside in her chair on the porch to watch the hummingbirds at the many feeders she had in her garden. Diann also took a lot of pride in her flowers in that garden and loved to watch them bloom. Diann’s best friend and true companion was her loving dog Pettie. She loved that dog so much, he wasn’t ever just a dog, he was the boy’s 4th brother! Diann loved to shop! Be it online or in the store shopping was her favorite past time. She had a knack for finding great deals on the most beautiful items. Her boys and grandchildren as well as her great grandchildren always held a very special place in her heart. Diann was preceded in death by her grandparents, mother Joyce, Brother Jerry ‘Red’ Livingston and a niece Lila. She is survived by her sons, Kelly Elliott and wife Belinda, John Elliott, and Casey Elliott and wife Tasha. Grandchildren, Nathon, Jordan, Samantha, Lorra, Joslyn, Katie, Katrina, Hannah, Dakota, Drake, and Zack. Great- grandchildren, Brady, Willow, Allison, and Joshua, Father Jerry ‘Don’ Livingston, siblings, Charley Livingston and wife Tonya, Julie Smith and husband Carl, and sister-in-law Billie Livingston. As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am on Saturday December 18, 2021, at StoneWater Church, 5645 Hwy. 144-N in Glen Rose.
