Kenny Mills left a message on November 24, 2020:
I did not know Leon had passed and do apologize for the long passage of time from this post and his passing. Back in 1990 to 1992, I had the honor and privilege to work together with Leon at TU Electric as Major Account reps for Dallas customers. Leon was a patient, wise, and fun-loving gentleman that always had a smile on his face. He might not have realized it but he was my mentor and "go to" person for all things related to the job. He, for the most part, kept me out of trouble and I could always count on him for sage advice. One particular bit of wisdom he imparted for my benefit was to "always get that monkey off your back". I smile every time I think of this advice as it has come in handy countless times throughout my career. That advice and the many other conversations we had across all subjects are treasures to me and I'm sure all of his family and friends can say the same. God Bless the Heath family and RIP Leon. Thank you.

Mr. Heath was an awesome man and father! The Heaths have always been the kind of parents us kids called Mom and Dad even though we were not blood relation! All us soccer girls called Mr. & Mrs. Heath, Mom and Dad. Thank you for some of the best memories of my life Heath family! I love you and will be with you today and pray for your sweet loving family every day! Love and blessings always! The Cann Twins!
