Virginia Frances Collins, of Granbury, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018. Frances was born September 12, 1929 in Martins Mill, Texas to Albert and Gertrude Daniel. She married Floyd Collins in Athens on April 12, 1947. Frances loved to read, shop, and play cards with friends. She enjoyed mani/pedi’s with her daughter, Elaine and going to the casino with her daughter, Janie. Frances made the best chocolate and caramel pies in the world. Friends and family always referred to her as a very classy lady. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Floyd “PeeWee” Collins, granddaughter, Tammy McNeeley, siblings, Barbara Moosberg and Larry Mewbourn.
Survivors: daughters, Elaine McNeeley and husband Larry, Janie Stanfield and husband Ray; grandchildren, Wendy McNeeley, Daniel Stanfield, Jason Stanfield and wife Sally, Jeffrey Stanfield and wife Christi; great-grandchildren, Blaire, Tanner, Cash, Nolan, Anson, Hollie; siblings, Richard Daniel and wife Rosemary, Myra Bryner and husband Charles, Cheryl Mewbourn; several nieces, nephews and lots of friends.
