Walter ““Hank”” H. Iness

GLEN ROSE — Walter H. “Hank” Iness, 71, passed away Wednesday, Apr. 6, 2016, in Glen Rose.
Memorial service: 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Apr. 10, 2016, at First Baptist Church in Glen Rose.
Hank was born Feb. 16, 1945, in Monahans, Texas, to John Dee Iness and Billie Mae Guilliams Iness. He married Beverly Womack, Mar. 25, 1983, in Monahans. He had lived in Glen Rose for the past 14 years and was a supervisor for Somervell County Roads and Bridges. He served in the U.S. Navy for 8 1/2 years. He loved to fish. Hank served in the police department in Monahans and also as a corrections officer with the Department of Corrections in Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents and parents-in-law.
Survivors: Wife, Beverly Iness of Glen Rose; son, Brandon Iness and wife, Christian, of Rockwall; son, Ricky Womack, Jr. of Glen Rose; grandson, Jedadiah Iness; brother, Larry Iness and wife, Judy, of Sarita, Arizona: and several nieces and nephews.
