Willard P. Fleming, 91, passed away Monday, July 29, 2013 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at 1:15 p.m. at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Fleming was born January 15, 1922 in Emory, the sixth of eleven children of Jeff and Myrtle Fleming. He was an Army veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific theatre during the war. He retired from L.T.V. in 1978 after 30 years of service. He was a Past Master of Estelle Lodge #582, A.F. and A.M., Euless; Kingston Lodge #287 A.F. and A.M., Kingston, Oklahoma, Past District Deputy Grand Master for the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the state of Oklahoma during 1984 and 1985; a member of West Parkway Baptist Church; a life member of V.F.W. Post #1237, and had been an Azle area resident since 1993.
He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Fleming in 1984.
He is survived by his wife, Naomi Fleming of Azle; daughters, Debra Beard and husband, Roy, of Paradise, and Darla Fleming of Azle; sister, Linda Perez of South Carolina; grandchildren, Amy Hunt and husband, Jon, Jessie Beard, and Danielle Fleming; great-grandchildren, Hunter Hunt, Ashlyn Beard, and Nataleigh Eubanks.
