William “Bill” Brock

William “Bill” Carter Brock, 76, of Granbury, Texas, passed away at his home on March 28, 2019, surrounded by loved ones.
The memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 4th at First Christian Church of Granbury.
Bill was born in Lubbock Texas on July 29th, 1942. He attended Texas Tech University and Golden Gate University. He entered the U.S. Air Force on October 20, 1966 where he served for 23 years and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel on September 30, 1989. He and his wife, Joyce Brock, were married for 35 years. They moved to Granbury, in 2004 where they joined the First Christian Church of Granbury.
Bill loved spending time on the lake, visiting with family and friends, and was happiest when he was in the middle of a home improvement project.
Bill Brock was preceded in death by his parents, J.H. and Mary Lee Brock; brother, James Farris Brock; his father-in-law, a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Brock; sister, Marsha Bishop; daughters, Laine Brock (Stewart Rowe) and Heidi Fitzgerald (Jimmy Marcus); son, Jason Brock; mother-in-law, Marian Brincken; brothers-in-law, Gene Dahlstrom (Sandy), and Wayne Dahlstrom (Jacky); sisters-in-law, June Willis (Chuck) and Janet Whisenhunt (Jackie); and many nieces and nephews and good friends.
