William Paul Polly, 71, passed away very peacefully December 11, 2013 at his home surrounded by loving and caring family members.

A private family graveside service will be held in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

William Paul Polly was born September 29, 1942, to William and Mary Polly in Fort Worth. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, having entered in October 1964, and was honorably dischaged in October 1966, rising to the rank of Specialist 5.

After his military service, he became an avid golfer and enjoyed playing with friends and co-workers for many years. Upon his retirement from Lockheed-Martin he enjoyed oil painting, many road trips with family and friends, and caring for his beloved dogs.

He is survived by his special friend, Janice Jones; sisters, Nelda Mowell and husband, Ed, and Eileen Howell and husband, Roy; nephews, Doug Mowell and Paul Lindsey; nieces, Debra Windsor and Daphne Newman.
