Thomas Crist

Thomas Crist of Rivera, Texas passed away peacefully in Granbury, Texas on Wednesday August 12, 2020 at the age of 81. Thomas was born in Ansbach, Germany on March 5, 1939 and was trained in Germany as a master electrician. Thomas arrived in America by ship in 1963 docking in New York.  After arriving in America, Thomas traveled to Texas where he and his wife Felicia built their home in Mansfield, Texas. Thomas started his own company Thomas Electric Company in 1969, doing residential and commercial jobs. In 1975. Thomas started working at Miller Brewing Company in Fort Worth, Texas. He retired from Miller Brewery after 25 years of service. After retirement, he and his wife Felicia started traveling all over the United States making new friends and at times would work at the RV Parks where they stayed. Thomas was always ready to help others in times of need. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and eating some good German food. One of his biggest passions was getting “on the road again” and traveling to see the United States with his beloved wife Felicia.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Felicia Crist, his two children, Robert Christ, of Fort Worth, Texas and Tommy Crist and wife Gina of Granbury, TX and grandchildren, Dalton Crist and Tatum Crist. He is also survived by sister Rosemarie (Rosi) Groß of Germany, and many nieces and nephews in Germany. Thomas was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. George/Marie Christ of Ansbach Germany, sisters; Karoline Aicher and Luise Siebentritt of Germany.

A celebration of life will be held at Acton Baptist Church on Saturday, Sept. 12^th at 11:00 am.
