Mark Ratcliff left a message on January 8, 2015:
I am very proud to have called Keith my friend, and I will miss him dearly. Keith and I worked together in Alvarado for several years. Keith was one of the kindest people that I have ever met, and he always had a positive attitude. He spent many years making sure children got to school safely which is a much harder job than many people realize. He was up early in the mornings making sure that the roads were safe and worked late into the evenings making sure that all of the students got home safe. Keith had one of the biggest hearts of anyone that I have ever known. He truly loved people. I have seen him empathetically tear up when listening to someone else's problems, and I have seen him reach deep into his own pocket to help others out. You could see his love for his fellow man each and every day in the way he treated people. The world lost a great man with the passing of Keith McKinnon, and we will miss him dearly. Mark Ratcliff
