Michael E. Nickell our beloved husband, dad, PawPaw/grandpa moved on to be with our Heavenly Father on Monday, December 7, 2020.
Committal: 11:00 A.M., Friday, July 7, 2023, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
Michael Earl Nickell was born July 12, 1941 in Cleburne to the late Knox Earl and Juanita Corbin Nickell. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Stuttgart, Germany. Michael enjoyed vacationing with his family, especially camping and enjoying nature at Big Bend. He also enjoyed trips to Fredericksburg with miles of bluebonnets and great German food. Michael loved watching movies especially “A Christmas Story”, “Office Space”, and “The Big Lebowski.”

We are left with so many wonderful memories. Dad may you fly high among the angels. No more pain, no more doctor visits, and no more poking and prodding visits. Just absolute freedom and Heaven. You are loved and will be missed. We love you so very much. Love you forever, Dad.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Billy Nickell.
Survivors: Wife of 54 years, Linda; children, Brian Nickell and wife, Hanna, Michelle Tarvin and husband, John, and Susan Privett and husband, Keith; grandchildren, Courtney Nickell, Seth Tarvin, Faith Privett, Joe Tarvin, Chase Privett, Gage Privett, and Brianna Nickell; and sister, Marianne Nickell.
