Jimmy Mays, 79, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020.
Graveside Service: 2 p.m. Thursday in Saginaw Cemetery.
Jimmy will lie in state from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Biggers Funeral Home.

Jimmy Mays was born on January 29, 1941 in Oakland, California to the late Ray and Dora Ozella Wilkinson Mays. His family moved from California when he was 12 years old. They lived in Kilgore, TX for a while before moving to Ft. Worth.
Jimmy graduated from Diamond Hill-Jarvis High School in 1960. He married Nelda Jones in 1963 and moved to Saginaw. Their son, Kirt, was born in 1964. Jimmy oversaw production scheduling at Harbison Fischer Mfg. Co. for 38 years before retiring.
Jimmy loved the Lord and taught Sunday School at Decatur Avenue Baptist Church and at First Baptist Church in Saginaw where he was a member.
He loved playing golf with his family and friends and especially enjoyed following Angela Stanford in her golfing career. He loved TCU football and the Dallas Cowboys.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Glenda Gill, Diane Raney, and Janet Gum.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Nelda Mays; son, Kirt Mays (Kim); grandson, Spencer Mays (Brittany); granddaughter, Kennemer Mays; brother, Charley Eugene Mays (Janice); and many nieces, nephews and cousins that he loved.
