I have enough memories of times with Jimmy, Nelda and Kirt to write a book...all of them are great! He was a good man who will be missed by many, including my family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Thankfully Jimmy is in the arms of Jesus. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

David Firkins left a message on December 28, 2020:
What a great man and great friend Jimmie was. He was my sunday school teacher at Decatur Ave Baptist Church during my mid-teens. He took me and several others under his wing and not only taught us to love the Lord but to love others and respect all. He was full of life lessons that I carry on to this day. I left for the service and only saw Jimmie and Nelda a few times over the last 50 years but they were always in my mind and loved by me to this day. Jimmy you will be missed only for a short time because we will all be together when the Lord calls us home.
