Richard Phillips of Granbury passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023.

Richard, more appropriately known as Ricky was born in Lubbock on November 26, 1957 to Jerry and Juanita Phillips. After high school, Ricky worked for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad until he moved his family to Granbury in 2004. He enjoyed working on classic cars whether it be to restore the body of the car or to rebuild the engine.

Ricky married Glenna Lynch of Lubbock on May 27, 1977 and together, they have two children, Gary (Hannah) and Ronda (Juan), both who live in Granbury. Ricky and Glenna also share 6 grandchildren, Madeline, Braxton, Roper, Dallie, Makayla and Kalleigh.

Ricky was preceded in death by this parents, his sister, Jerry Lynn Phillips, and his father-in-law, Bobby Lynch.

Ricky will lie in state from 12 noon until 7pm on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Martin’s Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 4pm to 7pm on Saturday as well. Martin’s Funeral Home is located at 100 S Morgan Street, Granbury Texas 76048.
