A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Biggers Funeral Chapel.

Michael was born October 14, 1980 in Cuba, New Mexico.

“Mikey” was loved and is survived by his sons, Chasten and Seven Burks; his mother, Nancy Schmitt Lassiter; father, Robert Archie Burks; sister, Allison Burks; and brother, Robert Kelley.
