George Ann Baker, 74 of Granbury passed away Monday, September 24, 2012 in Fort Worth, TX.

George Ann was born on July 30, 1938 in Bonham, Texas to George Lahn Meason and Audie Reba Meason. She was the oldest of four children and graduated from Odessa High School in 1956. She married George Baker on December 11, 1959. Over the years they lived in several communities including, Odessa, Austin, Monahans, Midland, Ft. Worth, Houston and Andrews before moving to Granbury following George’s retirement in 1995.
George Ann loved reading, playing her piano, crossword puzzles, antiques, golf and watching Texas Rangers baseball.
She is survived by hr beloved husband George of nearly 53 years, her sisters, Dawnie Burleson and Patti Higdon, her brother, Joe Meason, her children, Steven and his wife Danielle, Scott and her two grandchildren, Zane and Lauren Baker.
Her love of family, sense of humor and kindness will be greatly missed.
