Mrs. Evelyn Ann Young of Granbury was called home to be with her Heavenly
Father on Feb. 12, 2016.  Evelyn Loved Children.
Funeral service:  10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016 in Martin’s Funeral Home
Chapel
Visitation:  6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15, 2016 at the funeral home.

Young Memorial Fund.
Evelyn was born February 11, 1935 in Carrollton, Missouri to Russell R.
Mayden and Anna L. (Dandy) Mayden. She married Max Young in Kansas City, Mo.
and they celebrated fifty-two loving years together.
Evelyn received her Associate of Music Degree from Christian College in
Columbia, Missouri and her Bachelor of Science Degree of Music Education
from Missouri Valley College in Marshall, Missouri.  She was a Music teacher
and her favorite was her marching band at Waverly and Carrollton, Missouri.
She was later employed as the Executive Secretary to the President of
Executive Aircraft Corporation, Kansas City, MO.  There she acquired flight
experience as a pilot on solo flights.
Survivors : husband, Max Young; daughter , Marilyn Jones and husband Wesley, their daughters,
Jennifer and Christy Jones ; son, Stuart Young and wife, Lynne ,their daughter, Haley , sons, Stuart Young II  and, Parker Young  and a brother, James R. Mayden and wife Bea.
