I’m so sorry for your loss. I didn’t have a clue something had happened until I saw this notification. Your family will be in my prayers. I wish I could do more but I’m recuperating from this hip replacement surgery.

Not only was Coach McBroom my coach and Mentor.. He was a very good friend. A Father figure I could always depend on. He was a hard coach to play for but fair.. he made me the man I am today. I will miss him saying “hello left hander” every time I called. I will see you.. and pitch for you again in Heaven one day my friend.. and Coach!!

Butch and I shared many a day during the past 5 years at his ranch sitting on the back porch, watching the country side and critters. We would be rocking in his rockers, eating bologna sandwiches ( his favorite) and swapping baseball stories. We’d often talk about our families, our ailments (which we had many), our lives and just enjoying a 50 year friendship. RIP, my dear friend, you will be sorely missed.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
