Barbara Alice (Bryant) Hooser, 75, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at her home in Granbury. She was born September 14, 1947, in Brownfield, Texas to Jesse and Evelyn Buchholz Bryant.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dwayne Hooser, a sister Kathy Miller, and her parents Jesse and Evelyn Bryant.

Barbara is survived by her daughters, Lisa Childress (Bill), and Susie McGuire (Randal Clark); six grandchildren, Baylie McGuire, Sawyer McGuire (Bethany), Rachel Speir (Calder), Madison Lewallen (Austin), JC Childress (Tyler), and Lucas Childress; five great-grandchildren, Rhylee Hardwick, Evelyn Lewallen, Mack McGuire, Bennett Speir, and Carter McGuire; two brothers, Jay Bryant (Jean), and Richard Bryant.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm. Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Girard Cemetery, C.R. 171 Girard, TX. 79518.

My deepest condolences go out to all of you. The world lost a piece of goodness when Barbara left us. Lisa & Susie - never doubt how much each of you were loved and how proud your Mom was of each of you. And, if you talked to Barbara for more than a minute, you knew how crazy she was about her grandkids and great grands. She LOVED how close all of you were and the priority you placed on family. My uncle found his soulmate in her. That has brought solace knowing they are together again. I know he was there to greet her with a “Barb - where ya been?” May your memories give you comfort and may you always smile when you remember all the good times you shared. My prayers and heart are with all of you.
