Carroll (Calvin) Phillips went to be with his father, mother, sister and brothers on Wednesday, December 22, 2021.
Memorial Service: 1p.m., Monday, December 27, 2021 at North DeSoto Church of Christ in DeSoto, Texas.
He was born on January 13, 1955, in Neches, Texas to J.C. and Ardelia Phillips.
After graduating from Lee High School in Midland, Texas, he moved to Dallas, Texas and married Crissey Phillips and from that union two sons were born. Carroll loved fast cars and was a member of the NHRA. He was a member of Lee Street Church of Christ in Midland Texas.
He was a long haul and local truck driver driving for J. B. Hunt for 30 years, retiring December 2019.
Carroll (Calvin) was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, four brothers and one sister.
Survivors: Carroll (Calvin) is survived by five brothers and three sisters, two sons, seven grandchildren and three great grandsons. Brothers, Archie Phillips, Herbert (Joyce), Edward (Lillian), Wayne (Sheri), and Earl; sisters, Artelia (Arthur) Williams, Faye Cunningham and Grinetta Evans; sons, Anthony Carroll (Keisha) Phillips, and Calvin Antwion (Shayla) Phillips; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, and great-great nephews.
