Charles “Chuck” Johnson, 56, of Fort Worth, passed away and went to be with the Lord on October 24, 2016.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, October 28, at Biggers Funeral Home. The family will be present to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park.
Chuck was born in Fort Worth at Carswell Air Force Base on August 31, 1960 to Nancy and Charles W. Johnson. At the time, his father was overseas with the USAF, but not a problem since Chuck had a huge extended family to come home to in and around Lake Worth. His immediate family made several moves during his young life, but Fort Worth was always home. He loved to swim, fish, and bike with his cousins. He was so generous, he really would give you the shirt off his back. Chuck graduated with honors from Boswell High School, class of 1978. He had high work ethics and was a successful salesman with Schwan’s Food Company. He will be remembered in stories forever by his loving family. “Rest in peace, Chuck”.
Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Charles William Johnson, on October 17, 2014.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Belinda Johnson; son, Jason Able; daughter, Lisa Hawpe; four grandchildren; mother, Nancy Johnson; sister, Toni Halbert and husband, Mike; along with three nieces, Amy, Amanda, and Melissa.
