Dennis M. McMillan, 65, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018 at home with family by his side. Celebration of Life: 4:00 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2018 at the A & M Gardens in Azle – Reception following.
Dennis was born in Elgin, Illinois on July 11, 1952. He was one of seven children born to the late, Lois Margaret (Koch) and Earl Edwin McMillan. Dennis grew up in Dundee, Illinois and graduated with the class ‘70 from Dundee HS. Dennis was a happy person dedicated to family and loved by all. Throughout his life, he liked camping, scuba diving, traveling and working puzzles. He also enjoyed NASCAR racing, the Dallas Cowboys, da Bears and the Cubs. He had a long career with KPS Gobal – Insulated Panel Systems where he worked as a quality control (QC) and factory engineer manager. Dennis was preceded in death by his brother, Richard McMillan in November 2016.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Verba McMillan; daughters, Linda Herron, Catherine Hull and husband, Mark; brothers, Daniel Pender and wife, Sherry, Earl McMillan and wife, Patricia, Douglas McMillan and wife, Elizabeth; sisters, Margaret Babcock and husband, Ronald, Diane Guetschow and husband, Steve; sister-in-law, Diana McMillan; grandchildren, Billy (Bo) Wiley, Alitha Rucas-Gill, Jacob Jenkins, Arissa Hull, and Joel Hull; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
