Donna Dempsey Chandler, 74, left her earthly body to join her Lord and Savior in the heavenly kingdom on Monday, July 18, 2016.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 21, at Living Water Church. Interment will be in Azleland Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Donna was born May 29, 1942, in McGregor to Larky and Sallie Dempsey. Donna was a devout Christian and most loving wife, mom, and grandma “Little Mama.” She was the glue that kept our large blended family together and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Gayland W. Chandler; children, Dana Ximenes and husband, Arthur, Tony Widener and wife, Mary Lou, Tammy Wright and husband, Dirk, Kim Adams and husband, Ken, and Kamie Garcia and husband, Joe; sister, Billie Bowling; brother, Bud Dempsey and wife, Sharon; grandchildren, A.J. Ximenes, Randall Widener, Ramon and Atticus Broadbent, Billie Walker, Brandon, Dakota, Gabriel and Jonah Wright, Dani Montalvo, Nick Valero, Myah Hunter and Shelby Garcia; three great-grandchildren.
