GRANBURY — Ellis A. Cade Jr., 80, passed away Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, in Glen Rose.
Service: 10 a.m. Monday at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury. Interment: 4 p.m. Monday in Knox City Cemetery in Knox City. Visitation: Was 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Wiley Funeral Home. Memorials: Community Hospice.

Ellis was born Dec. 6, 1933 in Dallas to Ellis Ainsworth Cade, Sr. and Lillie Belle Jones Cade. He married Emma Large on Feb. 14, 1975 in Fort Worth. He was a Christian man, loved to take walks, listen to radio, loved piano music, plants and his dogs, Joe and Oliver. Ellis was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers and sisters, Clara Lee Cade, Robert Cade, Helen Harris, Joseph Cade and Gloria Dean.

Survivors: Wife, Emma Cade of Glen Rose; several nieces and nephews; and his two special Boston Terriers, Joe and Oliver.
