Eric Edmunds

Eric Edmunds, 68, of Granbury, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018. Visitation from 10-11, Tuesday, September 25, 2018 with services to follow at 11:30 in the Wiley Funeral Home Chapel. Military ceremonies and Internment at Holly Hills directly after.

Eric was born on January 12, 1950 in Lodi, California to Earl and Marilyn Edmunds. He married Vicki Rathel on August 4, 1984 at Edwards Air Force Base. He loved his family; especially his grandchildren, and always enjoyed their company.

Eric proudly served his country for 42 years in the United States Air Force. He loved his work which entailed mixing rocket fuel. He was always there whenever the space shuttle landed.

Eric loved driving race cars because they were fast and loud. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and a member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church of Granbury. Eric was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter: Catrina Sheppard.

Eric is survived by his loving and supportive wife of 34 years, Vicki Edmunds and children: Theresa Lewis and husband Dearl, Tami Bacon and husband Eugene, Emerson Edmunds, Tanya Fogg and husband Thomas, ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, a brother and sister and numerous nephews and nieces.
