GRANBURY — Evelyn Baker Martocci, 87, passed away Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014, in Granbury.
Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury. Interment: Holly Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Wiley Funeral Home.

Evelyn was born Nov. 12, 1926 in Salisbury, N.C. to Walter Lee and Edna Irene Linebarger Baker. She married John P. Martocci on Dec. 29, 1962 in Fort Worth. She was the retired owner and operator of Custom Carpet Cleaners in Fort Worth for many years. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 2, 2002; her parents; a brother; and two sisters.

Survivors: Daughters, Vicki Martinez of Virginia and Diane Short of Granbury; son, Rocky Santay of Granbury; 18 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

This is the first time I have looked at this site. It has been four years since I lost you, Mommy. I miss you every day. Please forgive me for all the times I failed you. They say life is a learning experience; if that's true, then you have allowed me to learn the biggest lessons in life. When you got sick I did not understand just how much you really needed me.
