GRANBURY — Francis (Fritz) Joseph Mozjesik, 89, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013 in Granbury.
Funeral service: 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 6, 2013 at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church
Visitation: 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Rosary: 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Martin’s Funeral Home.
Fritz was born April 25, 1924 in Natrona Heights, PA. He married the love of his life, Fran, on September 16, 1945.
They moved to Texas in 1948 to work at the Bomber Factory Consolidated at that time. Subsequently,He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 31 years, prior to retirement and moving to Granbury. While in Granbury he also worked for Happy Hill Farm for ten years. He was a member of The 3rd Order of St. Francis of Assisi, Knights of Columbus Council #9748, 410th Bomber Group WWII Association and a Charter member of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church along with his wife.
He enjoyed traveling to his Air Force reunions and catching up with his buddies. Gardening, fishing and golf were his favorite pastimes, especially teaching his grandchildren how to bait a hook. Much to the displeasure of friends and family he remained loyal to his beloved Pittsburg Steelers.
Preceding him in death were daughter, Paula Mohr and son Tony Mozjesik.

The family wishes to express their graditude to Trinity Mission of Granbury and Covenant Hospice for their outstanding and compassionate care of their husband and father.
Survivors: Wife, of 67 years, Fran Mozjesik, four children: Kathryn Lowe, Joseph Mozjesik, Vicki Mozjesik Threat and Leona Tina Schwager and many grand and great-grandchildren.
