Kay, so sorry for the loss of your mom. I have only lived in DCBE for a few years, but I remember meeting your mom several times at LGA events. She was a "spit fire". The times i did meet her, I enjoyed visiting with her. Prayers for you and your family during this time.

Mrs. Kemp was such a blessing, being my 6th grade teacher, in 1967/1968 at Montclair Elementary in Corpus Christi. She was truly my favorite teacher in public school. I don't think they make 'em like her anymore. She was awesome and 1 of a kind. Mrs. Kemp made an impact on my life as well as many other students that had the privilege of having her for a teacher. I will always remember her. God Bless her and her family. David Wormser

Trey, I was blessed to meet your parents…they were both very special people. I know you will cherish the many memories you made with her, especially those made in the last few years. Rest in the assurance that you will see your momma again ! Love you!

Our dear Iris has out run us all to the Father's House. If there was ever a "Methodist Saint," it was her. She was an outstanding Christian Person and made such an impression and impact on all who came her way. We loved the entire family and will certainly miss her. Heaven is a much happier place with her there. Our love and blessings. Sherry & John Freeman of Fredericksburg, Texas.
