Jacqueline M. “Jackie” Nowicki transitioned to Heaven on Wednesday, November 25, 2020.

Jackie was born April 1, 1936 in Chicago’s St. Elizabeth Hospital to the late Raymond and Helen Banaszak Nowicki. She graduated from J. Sterling High School in 1954 and lived with her family in Cicero, Illinois. In 1954 she entered St. Anthony’s Teaching Hospital where she earned a Registered Nurse Degree in 1957. After working about 10 years at Loretto Hospital Jackie transferred her nursing skills to the Western Electric Company where she completed coursework to become a Certified Occupational Nurse. After 28 years of service Jackie retired in 2005. On January 1, 1984 Jackie, her identical twin sister, Geraldine, and their mother moved to Oklahoma City. They became members of Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church. On March 20, 2020 Jackie and Geri moved to Whitley Place Nursing Home in Keller, Texas. Jackie loved to read, crochet, work on puzzles, travel, go to plays, go shopping, and bowling in leagues.
The family wishes to thank all the skilled workers at Whitley Place who helped Jackie with everything and Holy Savior Hospice who did an excellent job making her transition easier.
Jackie leaves behind her twin sister, Geraldine; brother, Jan and wife, Beverley; nephew, Raymond and wife, Annette, great-nephew, Nicholas; great-niece, Briana; and many dear friends including, Patricia, Rachel, Hayden, Karen, Lori, Vickie, and Ashley.
