Visitation: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Saturday, November 5, 2016, Wiley Funeral Home, Glen Rose.

James was born on July 17, 1937 to James and Leona Miller. After graduating from high school, he served in the US Air Force. He worked as a machinist and as a security guard. His main hobby in life was spending time with his family. He had a great love of all people. James was preceded in death by his father, his wife Sandy who passed away in 1979 and his wife Betty who passed away in 1987, daughter: Shelly McCormick Vaughn, son: Richard Lee McCormick, grandson Elvis Aaron McCawley, and great granddaughter: Cassie Reeder.
James is survived by son: Robert Calvin Miller, daughters: Linda Miller McCawley and husband Elton, and Tracy Marie Miller Rosenau and husband Greg, grandsons: Mark Lee Aaron, Elton McCawley Jr. , Gage McCawley, Nathan Smith, and Logan Smith, granddaughters: Brittany Vaughn, Elisha Miller Harcrow, Summer Smith, Stephanie Reeder, Sandra Whobre, and Shellie Guillen, 21 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, mother: Leona Thomas Wright, cousin: Kitty Propest, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
