Our Beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather returned to his forever home with God on January 24, 2022.
He was born into Heaven on the same day his mother was born onto Earth. He had a double birthday party to go to! He is finally whole again and free from Alzheimer’s disease.
James was a brilliant mechanic and loved reconstructing homes. He retired in his 70’s after approximately 30 years as a calibration specialist for Lockheed Martin. He loved his work. He supported disabled veterans and was always willing to help those in need.
James was preceded in death by his father, James L. Williamson; his mother, Jennie Mae Williamson; his brother, Truman Williamson; and his sister, Jan Williamson Littlejohn.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn Benge Williamson; his daughters, Patti Ellison and Valerie Naimolski and her husband, Ron; his grandsons, Jeremy Arnett and his wife, Brooke, Justin Rogers and his wife, Heather, Blake Rogers and his wife, Anabelle, and Brandon Fuqua; his great-grandchildren, David and Emily Arnett, Oliver Rogers and Braxton Fuqua.
He will be interred in Greenwood Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request donations to The Alzheimer’s Association.
Thank you for your prayers, love, and respect.
