The most important part of his life was his family. He was married to the love of his life, Kara Sue, for the last 25 years. You could always find him working in his shop on his many projects, going on jeep trips, being near the water, visiting zoos with his kids and grandkids, having tea parties and giving horseback rides with his grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Lucille; his siblings, Pat and Judith Ann. He leaves behind his wife Kara Sue, of Granbury; Daughters, Jennifer Cottingham and husband Brandt, of Carlsbad, NM, Melissa Wagner and husband Aaron, of Sahuarita, AZ,; Lindsy Brown and husband Dustin, of Amarillo; son, Rhett Lawrence and wife Kelley, of Allen; Brothers, Ivan Lawrence and wife Kelly of Ponca City, OK; David Lawrence and husband Dino of Las Vegas, NV; 10 grandchildren, Caleb Macias of Carlsbad, NM; Jaidan Brown of Amarillo; Brayson Brown of Amarillo; Jody Cottingham, of Carlsbad, NM; Brody Brown of Amarillo; Hannah Joy Wagner of Sahuarita, AZ; Annie Lawrence of Allen; Adalie Brown of Amarillo; Maggie Lawrence of Allen; and Kye Cottingham of Carlsbad, NM.
