Jim Boyer Price

GRANBURY — Jim Boyer Price, 82, passed away in Granbury, Texas on Monday, April 4, 2016.
Memorial service: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Apr. 7, 2016, at the DeCordova Bend Community Center, 5301 Country Club Drive in DeCordova. Immediately following a reception honoring Jim’s life will be held at his residence.
Jim was born on March 31, 1934 in Dallas, Texas to James and Clytie Price. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He graduated from Texas A&M University, class of 1958. He spent his career in the insurance adjusting business as a catastrophe adjuster. Prior to moving to Granbury, he and Nancy lived in the country in Spicewood, Texas. In addition to a beautiful home in Spicewood Jim had his dream shop. You could always find him either on the golf cart somewhere on the property or in his shop working on a project. He loved spending time with family and friends, and of course anything involving the Aggies. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors: Wife, Nancy Price; children: Randall Blake Price, Joni Lynn Jacobs and husband, Greg, Deena Orr and husband, Ron, and Darrell Penny and wife, Amy; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, brother, Ben Price and wife, Pat; sister-in-law, Lydia Newman and husband, Bill.
